Richard Crumb
Richard Crumb is a photographer whose work is shaped by a deep connection to rural landscape and decades of lived experience. Growing up on a multigenerational Minnesota farm, photography became a way to observe light, space, and the quiet rhythms of nature. Now living with paraplegia following an injury many years ago, Richard describes nature as both liberating and grounding, offering freedom of perspective even when physical movement is limited. His images often reflect wide horizons, pattern, and a sense of calm resilience. Art of Possibilities holds special meaning as a place where work that has become more private since retirement is once again shared publicly. Through photography, Richard continues to explore how beauty, endurance, and adaptability coexist in both landscape and life.
