Beth Amlicke
I’m Beth and I’m a cool artist! I grew up loving art, my dad taught us all how to draw. I do art the way that an artist does and that makes me feel good. As an artist with a disability, I think it’s important to do artwork to make me feel like I can do something with my thoughts. My dad and mom and I had a boat once named “The Navicular” that we sailed on a lake in Michigan. We hooked it up to a station wagon, pulled it to New York, and took care of it there. This artwork was inspired by those memories and was made with watercolors and India ink.
