About the Artist

Brandon Allebach

I have never let my disability Holt Oram syndrome get in the way of painting. I have made over 500 paintings, sold over 400, and have never labeled myself as "disabled". I believe that art is cathartic, and I try to tell all children and aspiring artists to just do what they love, and that they can do it too. My art teacher once told me that art isn't in the hands, it's in the head. Painting can be challenging, but I find it rewarding to make something I would have never thought I could do.
