After a longtime interest in photography, my passion for nature photography emerged in 2004. I endured a massive stroke in 2007, causing partial vision loss, a cognitive deficit and complete left sided paralysis. Today I walk with a cane with restored vision and a clear mind. With continued partial paralysis and a balance deficit, steadying my camera and navigating rough terrain are significant challenges. My camera, with internal 5-way stabilization, and adapting my adventures to accessible areas enables me to continue my passion. Capturing the jewels of nature, combined with the creativity it offers, continues to be a gift.
