Hello - My Name is Joel Arvidson - I live with my wife Joni and I have a daughter named Amanda - they support my work just like Pouncer does - He is our family cat - As you will see by my subject matter in art - I do like to get into subjects of a secular nature but much of my preferred focus is the Sacred Art I produce. Jesus Christ is an inspiration and as you might see from at least a couple works I have chosen for display - I am not only with the idea of the divinity of God but also try to capture the human condition and the pragmatic and mundane themes of His life - I do not sketch or pencil before I draw a piece in ink - it is all spontaneous and straight from my imagination as a gift to be shared from the treasures of my heart...
