Sue Jansen
I am Sue Jansen, and I have always been creating-as long as I can remember-even before age 3-and trading, selling, sharing my works, creations, at least since age 7.5. I create tangibles as a means of healing, learning, understanding-for/with self and others-telling stories, making statements, and creating well-being, interconnectedness with all beings, mother/father life, and expressing gratitude and loving. I am the confluence of many rivers of Peoples, and while originally seeing many differing colors, I came to see each and all persons as Rainbowskinned, containing all colors of the rainbow, simply differing proportions and intensities. I say my medium is the world as all materials/subjects hold promise-each and all speak to me, inform and inspire me, my creating, my defining self, the world, and my being in the world. Creating is being, making whole, speaking-it is voice. It is life. I lived a great portion of my life in the wild-woods and nature-where beauty and loving abounds.
