About the Artist

David Spohn

David Spohn is a Minnesota-based artist living with severe hearing impairment and heart failure. He has been making art throughout his life and is the author and illustrator of several children's picture books. Through his prints, drawings, and stories, David seeks to honor the quiet, healing beauty of nature. His work concerns the small spaces in our natural world and the simple stories that make our world a better place to live.
