Mason Anthony
Mason Anthony is a disabled transmasculine artist based in Medford, Wisconsin specializing in abstract watercolor ink paintings. Their work highlights the unplanned, which they enhance through alternative mark making by using scrapers, droppers, sea salt, and more to manipulate the medium. Mason Anthony loves the ephemeral and unplanned, viewing these concepts as the link between his identity as a queer disabled man and his identity as an artist. Art is not completed alone but is a collaboration between the artist and the medium. Mason Anthony has taken fine arts courses at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and earned a BA in Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Texas at Dallas.
