About the Artist
David McClanahan
On March 19, 2014, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in a incomplete spinal cord injury. I am a tetraplegic, with very minimal use of my right side and limited use of my left hand. I found an interest in painting when I went to a painting class. I find painting a way of expressing myself. I also find it relaxing and rewarding sitting in front of a canvas.
