Terry Sharp
Terry Sharp is an artist and stroke survivor whose creative life is grounded in perseverance, recovery, and faith. After suffering a stroke that initially left the right side of the body paralyzed, Terry was unable to walk or use an arm, hand, or fingers. Through intensive physical and occupational therapy, Terry gradually regained function and today is able to engage in most daily activities, moving with intention and patience. That same dedication made returning to creative work possible, with art becoming both meaningful and empowering along the way. Terry’s recovery was strengthened by encouragement from others and a deep spiritual foundation, guiding a focus on hope rather than limitation. Terry believes that through committed therapy, art can become accessible and life‑giving, and hopes others facing difficult circumstances will find freedom in turning toward faith, resilience, and possibility rather than what has been lost.
