I have always sought artistic creation my whole life. In my early adult years, I was struggling with a life-threatening mental illness and at one point wanted to end my life. But by the grace of God, many medication adjustments, and a period of time where I couldn’t even hold a pencil, let alone wield a paintbrush, I finally found stability, healing, and purpose. The mental health journey taught me perseverance, empathy, and fostering an indelible spirit. I chose to create work now the share light and Hope with the world.
