About the Artist
Kae Pershon
Katie (Kae) Pershon is a photographer and artist based in Grand Rapids, MI. Over her artistic career, Kae has focused on capturing the abstract and sublime, fascinated with the way a combination of mundane objects can become beautiful. Her unique perspective was substantiated when Kae was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 30. The delayed evaluation offered some much-needed clarity on how Kae had previously interacted and engaged with the world. Since her diagnosis, Kae has worked to educate herself and others about ADHD. She is currently working on a series of photographs that revolve around the symptoms and effects of living with ADHD.
