Brandon Allebach
Brandon Allebach has been an Albuquerque artist for over fifteen years. Influenced by Cubism, catharsis, and the art of the Southwest, he creates abstract acrylic paintings that explore depth, contrast, and interwoven spaces between foreground and background. He gravitates toward sharp lines, bold colors, and dynamic compositions. Sometimes, Brandon begins painting unconsciously, inspired by lines in the gesso layer, while other paintings require months of introspection before sketching the idea onto canvas. Living with Holt-Oram syndrome, which affects the use of his hands and arms, presents unique challenges in painting, but Brandon adapts and perseveres. Brandon enjoys being part of the artist community. "I love the originality and uniqueness that every artist brings, and that everyone has a talent," he says.
