Danielle Alexander
Danielle Alexander creates galaxies of paint. Butterflies, flowers, and hearts are found in these imaginative galaxies, arranged with careful spacing and order across the canvas. These subjects are painted with bright colors that make them pop out from dark backgrounds—and her characteristic combination of pink and green is found in almost every work. Danielle proudly identifies as an artist with autism, and a lover of '90s pop music. Danielle Alexander has been making art her whole life and paints with both acrylic and watercolor. Ms. Alexander calls New Hope home but primarily works out of the art studio at PRI, a day services center for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
