I began my camera adventures in early 2010 after progressing through many physical and cognitive development therapies. It was then that I accepted a new level of confidence that I could, with a cane in one hand and camera on the shoulder, launch out onto a wooded trail. I've discovered many classical champions who've created some of the finest images in the world.Two of my favorites are the inventive works of Ansel Adams, and the new direction in photography promoted by Alfred Stieglitz. A significant part of my right arm, shoulder and those extensor muscles remain weakened since my hemorrhagic stroke in 2008. Venturing into various environments, and seeking the ideal composition for the camera, can become a formidable challenge at times. However, I take an attitude of optimism, patience, and a “free” eye as I direct my attention on how best to capture a scene.
