About the Artist
Samuel Dietze
I'm Samuel Dietze, deeply passionate about plein air and space art. I find plein air painting especially fitting for exhibitions because the pieces are manageable in size, making them easy to transport and affordably priced. I love to immerse myself in nature, carrying my art supplies in a backpack and moving on foot or by bicycle, to capture the vivid beauty of colorful trees, bushes, and sometimes buildings, all through the medium of acrylics on canvas. Despite a vision disability that prevents me from driving, my dedication to art has never wavered. From a young age, I've been committed to my craft, leading to over three decades of serious practice and exhibitions. I am a member of Art in Common (AIC) and the International Association of Astronomical Artists (IAAA), which reflects my broad interests in the art world.
