I've been battling major depression since I was 14, a challenge that intensified last year when I was hospitalized and spent time in isolation from 12/24/23 to 1/5/24. Fortunately, my new medications have been effective. Alongside depression, I navigate life with posttraumatic stress disorder and anxiety. Despite these challenges, I've maintained employment for nearly 20 years. Currently, I'm a year away from earning a BFA, with a minor in Art History. My ultimate aspiration is to work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Additionally, I'm in the process of self-publishing my very own comic book.
