Josiah Ortner
Josiah Ortner is an artist, photographer, motorcyclist, and bird enthusiast. Born into a creative family Josiah grew up surrounded by color, travel, and artistic expression. Now, based in Santa Barbara, Josiah draws daily inspiration from nature, especially birds, which are a central subject in both his photography and visual art. He is a proud participant in the Fresh Eye Arts program at MSS, where he continues to develop his skills and share his passion for capturing the world?s beauty through impressionistic brushstrokes and a sharp photographer?s eye. His work?whether done with pencils, paints, or a camera lens?reflects movement, light, and a deep reverence for the natural world. Josiah?s art invites viewers to pause, observe, and connect with the quiet wonders of life?especially the feathered ones.
