Ever since I was young, I have struggled with depression and anxiety but found solace in creating art. In 2004 I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and began a journey to find a place of stability. Through much trial and error and a season where I couldn't even hold a pencil due to side effects of medication, by the grace of God I have found recovery and remission. Unbeknown to me at the time, my journey has allowed me to build resilience, tenacity, and endurance. My illness as well as my art endeavor has taken me to places I never dreamed possible!
