Natalie Wetzel
My name is Natalie Wetzel. I am an international award winning professional artist. I was formally trained at Illinois State University. After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis nearly 17 years ago, my body has undergone significant challenges. My hands, in particular, are severely crippled. I have had to overcome many obstacles along the way. I have had to learn new ways of doing things which has enabled me to continue producing art in spite of my physical limitations. I am greatly inspired by observing beauty and color found throughout creation. My strong Christian faith is one of my greatest motivators and I often draw inspiration from Scripture. I desire for my art to serve as a source of light, hope and encouragement in a world full of trials, disappointments and challenges.
