About the Artist

Peter Hinze

Art has been a constant thread throughout my life, serving as a crucial tool in managing my mental illness by providing me with meaning, purpose, and a way to communicate my feelings beyond words. Most of my work is created in studio in N.E. Minneapolis, where I collaborate with others on their own recovery journeys from mental illnesses. This community keeps me connected and supported, reinforcing the healing power of art in my life.
