I grew up consuming a healthy dose of comic books and cartoons that sparked my imagination, beginning to draw as soon as i was 4 years old. At this age I had aspirations of creating art for a living. Art as a career was not encouraged, but by my teen years, persistence led me to learn in school the art of screen printing, computer aided design, advertising, photography, and even developing my own film with the use of a dark room. For the last twenty years I have resided in Chicago, IL, have been successfully creating and marketing various forms of art such as tattooing, and generating art in almost all mediums from painting, illustration, and computer aided graphic design. I decided to go back to college to learn 3-D design, sculpture and other mediums. Struggling with vision problems and dealing with severe glaucoma has its limitations. These days, I have to have to paint under certain conditions, limiting what I can do in the studio.
