This new, colorful body of work began taking shape in 2022 on medium-sized canvases. It started as a way to free myself and rely on intuition. When I moved to larger canvases, I experimented with drips and embraced the limited control. I learned to accept what the painting was telling me and layered a combination of acrylic and oil paints on canvas to create vibrant and textural paintings. Along the way, I noticed common threads and color themes. I became genuinely interested in color combinations and how they affect us. Utilizing my knowledge of the psychology of color, I aimed to evoke joy. This exploration seeks to push boundaries and encourage viewers to see abstraction as a living, integral part of our world.
