About the Artist

Carol Foerster

I am a pencil artist. Inspired by life around me, I have drawn family and friends, pets, images from trips around the country. My pieces have stories. I became disabled due to a right arm injury in the 1990's. Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, after treatment I developed lymphedema in my left arm so now both of my arms are compromised. Drawing is something I can still do because of the gentle movement. I have been showing my art since 2012 and have won awards in shows around the country.
