Yousha Tighe is a painter and digital illustrator whose practice is rooted in a lifelong dedication to drawing and visual storytelling. Having drawn since early childhood, Yousha began taking art seriously by the age of eight and continues to develop a distinctive surreal style. Her work often features humans and animals rendered with care, imagination, and emotional presence. Yousha approaches each subject with the intention of honoring what makes individuals beautiful and unique, portraying them with the same sincerity and dignity once reserved for royals or sacred figures. Through this lens, her art invites viewers to briefly let go of notions of ugliness or hierarchy and instead see worth, depth, and magnificence in every figure.
