About the Artist
Joan Einsman
Joan Porter Einsman is an active Minnesota Artist. She has # degrees from the University of Minnesota. She has taught multiple art classes at the University of Minnesota, Bloomington Art Center, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, Dakota Art Center Minneapolis, Community College and many other locations. She has been represented by several Art Galleries .She owned her own Art Gallery as well . She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when 23.It has affected her joints and several surgeries have been needed. She started Graduate School as a Bionic woman with right wrist implants as a returning student . She learned to use her left wrist to paint and draw. Joan has not let her disease dictate her life. Art is important to her. Her Images are colorful metaphors of Nature, Environment, Travels and personal subjects. Mixed Medias are used on paper, wood, canvas in 2D and 3D.They are unique and one of a kind. Lifelong Learning is of major importance.
