Gerard Di Falco

My zinc plate etchings are developed in Nitric acid baths and hand printed on a flatbed press. Photography is vital to my work, because my scenes are based on my own photos and from archives. After finding my image, I create a few original drawings of the photo; and then, hand-draw the scene in reverse onto a prepared etching plate. I live with disc disease, arthritis and chronic pain. My works have been shown in many exhibits around the world since 1979.
