My artwork is both a joy and a balm. Painting and drawing has always been a coping skill. I have been painting for 43 years. After being diagnosed with a severe mental illness it became life giving, a way to express my my feelings and moods in dynamic color and form. My art is heavily influenced by Ignatian spirituality and my Catholic faith. Koinonia is the word I would use to describe my work and life.
