Troy Dahnke
I had a stroke in 2003 and that has left me with difficulty speaking (Aphasia) and affected the right side of my body. I met a stroke survivor who introduced me to the art of pottery. I have been working at the pottery wheel ever since. I first used pottery to improve my right hand dexterity and have seen this additional positive benefit of my work in pottery. I enjoy the satisfaction of producing something beautiful and useful from a simple lump of clay.
