Peter Hinze
"While I work in many different mediums, watercolor painting has always been my first love, which I began at around age 15. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to study under talented watercolor artists like John Stuart Ingle, Howard Sivertson, and Lisa Fertig. I also began working in acrylics in high school and later explored pastels.
In 2011, I became involved with Avivo ArtWorks, where I do most of my work in a shared studio space. The opportunity to work alongside other artists who are recovering from mental illness has provided me with valuable support. Expressing my emotions and creativity through art has played a vital role in my recovery, helping me connect with others in ways that go beyond words."
