About the Artist

Cecile Bellamy

I was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, and didn't develop an interest in art until I was eleven. From that point, I took a keen interest in drawing and soon moved on to acrylic painting. While still in high school, I took a college-level drawing course. I continued my education at the University of Minnesota, where I excelled in various fine arts courses. In 1994, I attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and graduated in 1997. I have been exhibiting locally for over twelve years. I enjoy being part of this artistic community.
