About the Artist
A native of Buffalo, New York, after receiving a BFA in painting from the SUNY College at Brockport, a MFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art I went on to earn a M.Div. from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. I am also the product of 10 years of study at MollyOlga Art Neighborhood Art Classes in Western NY. For 42 years, I have painted figurative works in a unique style that incorporates vibrant color, design and form. Painting for me is a way to communicate with people and God. I use visual imagery as a catalyst for discussions about the nature of spiritual growth as it applies to behavior. My disability of schizoaffective disorder has not prevented me from living a life of my choosing.
