About the Artist
Linda Frankenstein
Linda has had a love of art since the second grade. She received her BA in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota and has worked as an artist for more than 40 years. In 1993 Linda was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa which is a degenerative eye disease and has lost 75% of her vision. She has developed her own painting strategies to accommodate her ever changing eyesight. Her perception of color is also a challenge, so she now uses bright, highly saturated color palettes, which give her work a distinctive look. So far Linda has been successful in creating new ways to work and hopes to continue making art for as long as she can.
