About the Artist

Suzanne Anderson

Suzanne Anderson is a first-time Art of Possibilities participant who turned to art during her recovery from a spinal cord injury caused by severe illness and sepsis in 2024. Working primarily in acrylic painting and photography, Suzanne draws inspiration from nature, spirituality, and her beloved dogs, Ritter and Ruby. Her dogs play a central role in her healing, offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional grounding through every stage of recovery. Suzanne’s artwork reflects her belief in kindness, faith, and perseverance, capturing moments of calm and reflection. Creating art has helped her rebuild strength and confidence while navigating life-changing circumstances. Through her work, Suzanne shares a message of hope and gratitude, demonstrating how creativity can offer comfort, purpose, and renewed joy in times of profound change.
