About the Artist

David Wright

David is a 46-year-old man diagnosed with Trisome 8 Syndrome at birth. Impaired speech and language are hallmarks of this syndrome. Art provides both challenge and entertainment as well as a way to communicate with the world. David loves color and detail. Architecture was an early interest. He completed his first 3-dimensional drawing at age 3, a dog. Now, his drawings feature mostly inanimate items, especially buildings which he highlights with bright colors generated on the computer after he uploads his original drawing.
