Treavor Pence
Treavor Pence is an artist whose practice is rooted in years of teaching, observation, and dedication to craft. A retired teacher of twenty‑five years, Treavor continues to share knowledge through art by offering demonstrations and working closely with Veteran and military families. Specializing in oil landscapes and pencil portraits, Treavor’s work reflects patience, technical skill, and a deep appreciation for place and people. Creating art has remained an active and evolving part of life, with time spent participating in art markets throughout the Southwest and returning regularly to this exhibition over the past several years. Engagement with the public is an important part of the practice, allowing technique and storytelling to intersect in meaningful ways. Through painting, drawing, and teaching, Treavor maintains a strong connection to community, using art as both a personal pursuit and a way to share experience, knowledge, and respect for the craft.
