The was never a question of me being something else despite all the difficulties, the struggles, the snubs, the non understanding of my work by others at times. Deep down you know art is worth it. It's your truth and at times it's your only way of expressing what you have inside. All the more so when you are struggling with a chronic illness, art becomes a form of therapy as well.
