Annie Hickman
I am an ameteur photographer who loves to see the small details and big vistas that make up our world. I live with a degenerative neurological condition that forces me to continually adapt to continue to stay engaged as a teacher, an adaptive athlete, and as a person in the world. There are so many things we can find to divide us; I love finding things that can be beautiful without conditions, and especially the beauty in imperfections. Even when I don't have my camera in my hand, I am always composing, noticing and getting excited when I see something new or in a new way. I try to bring that noticing to my work where I am a special ed teacher for middle school students.
