Jill Ness creates artwork inspired by animals, landscapes, and the natural beauty of Minnesota. Working primarily in acrylic, Jill approaches painting through play, trusting experimentation and “welcome accidents” to lead the way. Living with disability, art offers focus, joy, and a sense of discovery. Nature remains a consistent companion, providing material and motivation for creative work. Jill values opportunities to share artwork alongside others, both learning from and celebrating diverse creative voices. Quoting Picasso’s belief that every child is an artist, Jill’s work reflects curiosity, openness, and a commitment to staying engaged with imagination.
