About the Artist
Peter Hinze
I grew up near Grand Ave in St. Paul and attended the U of M-Morris and studied art. I deal with anxiety and depression and I have been a Collective Member of the Avivo ArtWorks since 2011. My art practice helps me stay in my “being mind” where I am more patient, more in the present, less needing to control, and I am more creative. For me it is important not to try and control the outcome of a painting too much. I like to stay playful and spontaneous with it.
