Karen Wood
At 62 years young, art is my life. The best thing about being an artist is to draw, paint,or create, from my heart and touch another person with my spirit. I grew up around Uptown Art Fairs. I have a degree in Graphic Arts and as a Autobody Repair Technician. I was married, had children, divorced and became disabled in 1994, due to a hand injury. My life was riddled with health issues like CRPS, TBI, abuse, Lymes disease, Arthris, Hearing loss and other ailments. Positive health improvements began in 2017 when i added food supplements to my diet. Those changes allow me to feel human again. Although changed, art keeps me sane. I cannot imagine a life without art, in some form, to connect with or to share.
