In 2017 during an extended medical leave from work, I was so bored. I used some of my spare time photographing wildlife. Late 2018, now on permanant leave, I was looking for something creative to do with my photos. I ran across pyrography, or the art of woodburning. I received supplies and immediately fell in love! Not long after I broke my wrist and thought it was the end as my Hank kept shaking. Well, I fell again and everything popped back into place and my hand no longer shook. I did even better than I did before. I then created torchedtree.com to display and sell my pieces and now work with resin and paint pours also!
