About the Artist
Victor Brown
My name is Victor Brown, and I have had severe vision problems since birth, becoming totally blind in my 50s. After many years as a lawyer, I discovered my talent for macrame through the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Vision Impaired's adult art program. I identify colors by knotting the macrame cord, and I continue to explore art in other textile forms. I value the sense of community that comes from interacting with fellow blind and vision-impaired students. My passion for life and art continues to grow and evolve each day, fueled by positive inspirations.
