Carrie Bertschy
Carrie Bertschy has been creating art for over twenty years, working across painting, drawing, ceramics, and collage. Living with epilepsy, bipolar disorder, and psoriatic arthritis, Carrie has relied on art as a source of strength during some of life’s most challenging moments. Creativity has allowed her to process pain, find focus, and share her gifts with others, particularly within the disability community. Her work reflects persistence and curiosity, shaped by experimentation and a willingness to try new approaches. Carrie values Art of Possibilities as an opportunity to see what other disabled artists are creating and to celebrate shared capability. Through her ongoing practice, she demonstrates how art can offer stability, connection, and hope, even when life feels unpredictable.
