Angela Wood
Angela Wood is an artist whose creative life has been shaped by a strong family connection to art. Surrounded by creativity from an early age, with both her mother and grandmother practicing as artists, Angela has long enjoyed hands‑on projects and working with tools to add color and meaning. Living with autism and other disabilities, Angela collaborates closely with her mother, Karen, to create artwork that holds shared significance. Karen begins each piece with sketches that carry meaning for them both, and Angela brings the images to life by coloring directly onto canvas using acrylic paint markers. This collaborative process emphasizes connection, trust, and shared expression, allowing Angela’s love of color to take center stage. Through these works, Angela contributes her own voice and vision, celebrating art as a relational and joyful experience.
