About the Artist
Devra Goldstein
I am Devra Goldstein, a 32-year-old painter, weaver, and mixed media artist with different abilities. I use an adapted Saori loom for my textile work and am known for my luminous alcohol ink paintings. I often work with vibrant palettes, expressing my ideas and emotions through color and texture. The energy of my work compels the viewer to look closer and consider my unique choices. I am inspired by the ocean and love to incorporate shades of blue, purple, and silver in my paintings. Though I have physical challenges, I walk and create with the support of my personal assistant and advocate.
