With a background in fashion design, Addie prefers materials that can be touched, cut, arranged, and handled physically, allowing the body to remain part of the creative process. Living with limitations in strength and stamina from her disability, Addie selects methods that support pacing and stamina while incorporating therapeutic movement into artmaking. Collage, mixed media, and photography each offer different ways to explore form, texture, and moment, whether through carefully constructed compositions or quietly observed scenes encountered in everyday life. Creating art has become a way to rebuild confidence and connection, transforming limitation into adaptability. Sharing work publicly has encouraged continued growth and visibility, reinforcing creativity as both expression and possibility.
